The ergo carriers are so great! I love baby wearing and this makes it possible even when your baby grows into the toddler years. The carrier evenly distributes the weight of your baby so that it doesn't strain your back or shoulders. LOVE IT!

We have used this carrier for two children and love it. Very comfortable and easy to use. I get compliments on it each time I use it. The straps are nice and wide (and padded!) so it does not dig into my skin! We've used this from infant on up to over 2 years old. We love it.

Love love love my ergo carrier! I can wear my kids without back/shoulder pain which has been my problem with other carriers. The only issue I've had is that I don't know how I would buckle the strap behind my shoulders if I were to use it alone. But I've also never had to try using it alone, so I haven't really tried doing that strap without help.

My sister bought me this when I had my first child because she said it was the best carrier, and she should know after 4 children. I had to buy the extra belt extender to have it fit but it is very comfortable because it sits on your hips and does not put pressure on the back. I still need help doing up the straps once my baby is in so for me it is a 2 man job.

The Ergo was my third and favorite baby carrier, hands down! It is easy to take along for travel, shopping, or for walks. I like that the carrier is light weight, and can be folded and stored easily. The pocket on the front comes in handy for keys or cell phone. I prefer to wear my son on my back as he likes to look around. It definitely took some patience to get used to getting him on my back, but I look forward to using it more and him being able to get himself in it. Skip purchasing all the other carriers, the Ergo will meet all your carrying needs!

This is the best way to carry my kids. I have used it to carry the infant when dropping off the toddler at preschool. I carry my toddler in it on my back when traveling through the airport. I use it for grocery shopping and the mall. It is very easy to use and convenient with all ages.

I purchased one of these and used it quite a bit. I never mastered the side and back carry. I think it may actually be easier than the instructions make it appear. I just need someone to demonstrate for me. I also had the infant insert for my last baby so I could use it from the beginning. It can be hot in the summer, but what baby carrier wouldn't be? It is made very well and mine has no show of wear. An added bonus: I read an article after having used this carrier that stated that this is one of the carriers that properly positions the child (others put strain on their legs and can cause hip displasia sp?).

After trying out a variety of carriers, the Ergo is my favorite, hands-down. We used it from the time my little guy was a newborn (along with the infant insert). It got us through his cranky phase when all he wanted to do was be held (and I still needed to get stuff done around the house). Even my husband could comfortably carry him in the Ergo. As a bigger and taller girl, I was worried that I would be uncomfortable, but I found the Ergo to work great. Even after many hours at the zoo or through airports, my back and hips still felt fine. Now at age 2.5, little man still rides in the Ergo ... when he gets too tired to walk or when mom is worried about losing him in crowds. I love how I can get him in and out all by myself. We've definitely got our money's worth since buying our Ergo.

This is a wonderful and comfortable carrier! I love the pockets! When I put my keys in the pockets, I do not feel as if they are pushing against my baby! My little one loves to be carried in it and tends to fall asleep quickly while being carried when it is nap time! It was a little complicated to put on by myself at first but after about ten times, I don't have a problem!

I ordered this carrier after reading hundreds of reviews and I love it. My 3 month old loves it even more then me. The best part is the pocket in the front for keys/wallet/diapers, its very deep. I wore it to the Zoo from opening to closing time (7 hours) and it was great. The only problem was the infant insert makes baby very warm. I tried using it without it but it wasn't the same. But overall 5 stars.

I can't tell you how many of these types of baby carriers we tried. I think we tried nearly everyone that Babies R Us sells like all the known brands, and they all were awful after wearing for 15 minutes! Someone in my mommy group had the ERGO and raved about it, so I gave it a shot. My husband and I both love using it. It's very easy, and our baby (now 5 months) snuggles into it and seems really content. If I had it all over to do, we could have saved a couple hundred dollars and just gotten this one at the start! We've only tried it in the front position, but we haven't felt a need to try the other positions yet.

Comments:

Unfortunately the ergo carrier disappointed me a bit. I know it is the best for the baby's hips and that is why I got it. Unfortunately there is no way my baby would want to spread his legs that much, plus he didn't have much space in there. The belts are also very short, the bottom belt goes around belly so if you or your partner is not skinny than it is an issue. My baby cried in it a lot but it might be just because he is not used to carriers, I don't know...But when I tried different carrier (the popular name, unfortunately not good for the hips), he liked it and fell asleep in it..I'll give it another chance when he is bigger and can be carried on back maybe then it will be more useful. So far it is just sitting on a shelf...

I've used many carriers and this is by far the best! It is the only one that doesn't hurt my back and my baby has loved it as well. I could NOT live without it! I just wish I knew about this when my first was born! Not only is it a great product but the customer service center at Ergo is awesome! I had the zipper get stuck and when I tried to fix it, I broke it. I called customer service and they sent me a new one at no cost to me!! If there is one baby product you need to buy, this is it!!
