This stroller is almost perfect - sooo light, so adaptable, great recline, awesome sunshade. My only complaint, and it's not insignificant, is that you can't easily take it up and down a few steps because of the foot-brake placement. The catches hit the steps as you're rolling the stroller up and down, so the stroller can't be dragged up/down without scraping the brakes. On the other hand, the stroller is so lightweight (and sturdy!) that I have actually picked up the stroller w our one year old IN it to take her up/down a short flight. Sounds dicey, but it's actually not bc the stroller is super light and easy. Oh also another problem is the UB cup holder. Keeps falling off. You can screw it back on easily, but the mounting is plastic, and ours is pretty stripped by now, so the cup holder is shot. Not a big issue - can buy a new one cheaply - but it's kind of annoying.

It's pricey, but best choice for a lightweight stroller with most of the benefits of a regular stroller. My toddler can fall asleep in it comfortably & is well secured.

I live in Japan and needed a stroller that was narrow and didn't take up a lot of space but also didn't compromise on quality. The Uppa Baby G-Luxe is that perfect stroller! I like that my son can recline in it, I like how easy it is to collapse and store in the tiny trunk of my car and I love how easy it is to use this while traveling by air. This has gone through the snow and ice in Hokkaido to the hot, sticky weather in Okinawa and the busy streets of Tokyo and has served its purpose in each location. The extended sun shade is very appreciated by our son and the alignment of the wheels is appreciated by mom and dad. We love this stroller and I wish there was some sort of Uppa Baby G-Luxe double stroller and then everything would be perfect!

Absolutely Love this stroller... It's so light and perfect to use for a quick trip to the mall, zoo, airport or anywhere really. I love that it is so easy to open and close and baby seems to like it too. The basket is decent size and it steers great. I would say that they could improve on the cup holder. Doesn't seem very stable or deep. Overall, I would recommend and buy again with no hestation. And not to mention it looks fabulous too.

I primarily bought this stroller because it is so light weight and had an adjustable foot rest.We live on the second floor in a house with many steps and needed a stroller that would be easy to manage. Our 3 month old seems to enjoy the ride and his dad loves taking him for walks.Only recommendation would be to include a rain shield that attaches to the front.

Comments:

We bought this stroller after carefully considering both it and the Maclaren Quest. We had some difficulty researching it as the 2011 UppaBaby was not yet available in Canada (I ended up ordering it from the states as I needed it for a trip) and there was limited reviews on the 2011 model. The 2011 UppaBaby G-Luxe has some improvements over the 2010 (better fabric, longer leg rest). It is comparable to the Maclaren Quest but we chose it because a) it is over a pound lighter b) the fabric is suppose to be more breathable in warm weather c) the sunshield is bigger d) it stands on it's own e) it comes with a cupholder f) I already own the UppaBaby Vista and absolutely love it. I've also been impressed with UppaBaby's customer service and like the fact that they are an environmentally conscience, innovative company. We tried the stroller out on vacation in Florida and also on the cobblestone streets of Savannah. Bottom line is that we loved it. Lightweight, comfortable for my one year old, folds easily, handled the rough streets really well and maneuvered well with 1 hand, and looks great (I think it looks a lot sleeker and more modern than the Quest). We are so happy with our purchase and highly recommend it!

I got this 2 weeks ago and uses it as my 17 months old primary stroller. It turns on a dime. She fell asleep in it a couple of times so I am assuming that it's very comfortable for her. The workmanship on this is superb. My only complaint is that though the adjustable leg rest is great, it has to be re-adjusted each time you pop open the stroller.

I love this stroller!! I did a lot of research before deciding on this stroller- we were looking for something light-weight and comfortable for our son for an upcoming trip out of the country but we have used it for shorter trips already. We were in Chicago recently and used it all over town-it handled great- very easy to maneuver, super light-weight and our 7 month-old son was really comfortable and took several naps- I love the extended canopy and that it reclines all the way! We use this one as our primary stroller now. We just love how compact and lightweight it is!

Love this stroller! Have the Vista which we love for longer walks but the g luxe is perfect for lots of quick errands and getting in and out of the car. Very light weight, comfortable carrying strap, and decent size basket for this type of stroller. So glad we didnt go with a maclaren! Cant wait to travel with it!

This stroller was a great buy! We have the BOB revolution stroller as well, but it was way to bulky to use for everyday things. This stroller is great for trips, shopping, and also going for a quick walk. Very light and easy to open and close.
